Learning Disabilities Entwined with Disorder According to few, learning disabilities are often entangled with a group of mental disorders. I stand to correct this theory, since I seen countless of people struggling to learn without disorders.
Learning is a practiced resource that inspires the mind. When we lack nutrition, exercise, and proper rest, it can hinder us from learning, since we are practicing bad habits.
The mind requires nutrition, proper rest and exercise to function smoothly. Some people however, for a short time can get away with not adhering to the rules. In time however, this person will know where he or she missed out. Time tells everything.
If you have learning, disability, do not feel like a failure. Rather, if you are struggling to learn you will need to consider a few details. For example, how is the environment you are learning in? Do you feel pressure or do you feel relaxed?
Environment plays a large part in learning and if you are not comfortable, you might find it difficult to concentrate. It takes concentration, effort, willingness and so forth to learn. You might also want to consider your association. For example, if you have friends that help you along in life, then you have good friends.
On the other hand, if you have friends pressuring you, or feeding you negative feedback then it might be time to hang up the phone. Your mind expects to hear positive feedback, but when it hears negative feedback repeatedly, the mind breaks down.
This means that your mind is telling you that it has had enough. This is often when a person feels frustrated also. The mind is a habitat that is filled with expectations. Expectations are stressors that can lead to stress, so this is how the mind instigates, playing tricks.
In other words, you might be overly stressed and once you sit down and think about it, you might find there is no apparent reason to feel stressed. Relaxing then, helps clear the mind of chaos.
Learning requires a clear mind. When your mind is clear, you have room to let in the positive feedback. When you are studying homework, you will see the answers clearer if your mind is freed of chaos.
In addition, you might want to remember that getting it done now leaves room for more learning. In other words, procrastination can chaos, undue stress and can clutter your mind. Procrastination will only hinder your learning ability.
If you are struggling to understand what others are saying to you, you might want to consider a few possibilities. For example, have you had a hearing test recently? Have you been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)?
If you answered yes to the first question, what were your results? If you answered yes to the second question, then realize that Attention Deficit Disorders are common and hearing problems is part of the symptoms.
There is always an answer to any problem. For example, if you have difficulty understanding what others are telling you, you might want to consider your knowledge. In other words, pick up the dictionary and thesaurus and learn the many words that you are having difficulty relating to.
There is nothing wrong with reading the dictionary or thesaurus, since most times others will fail to define what they are saying. Having a deeper understanding of any one subject is the key to learning effectively.
When you understand what is said it helps you to move forward. Also, realize that others when speaking sometimes do not make sense or there information is incorrect. In other words, your mind is like a lying detector and when someone is telling you something and it is not true, your mind will send out the signals.
There are many reasons we often have difficulty learning. Since, we are taught one thing several different times in our life, we can see refresher courses are needed in our future.
We can also consider that one subject can have many meanings, leaving you frustrated to figure it out. If you have a learning disability, do not give up rather keep learning. When a person has a mental disorder coupled with learning disability, it is often difficult for this person to learn.
